how do you become a night club photographer in chicago?
i know it’s about connections. i sort of have a few but not really. an acquaintance of mine used to work for city42.com and my cousin’s friend does it right now on weekends. suggestions on how for those who have done it or are right now? i have business cards and i have event experience and i have the right camera equipment/accessories.

Looks like you really need to talk to your cousin’s friend. If that fails just try approaching them yourself or go to some of the clubs and ask if they are ok with you trying to shoot some nice photos in there if you’ll give them the ones you like for free. Work from that building a portfolio to get into others clubs
