Did you take some time last week to reflect your resolutions for 2008? (I bet you have!)

Resolutions create energy and promise. However, if we have a list of objectives and "things" that we would do with any plan of action ", these sub-resolutions made may end up making us downright depressed!

This year, you're ready to try something different when you determine your business goals for 2008? You can create this I call your business plan easy following through seven easy steps I will explain.

Your business plan will include simple only 4 goals you want to achieve in your business within the next year. 4 goals may not seem like much, but believe me, it's probably more than enough for everything else you have going on in your life! (Simple Your business plan is a plan for a year which is actually part of a much more strategic you for your business.)

Oh, another thought, the resolutions are not only about your business and career, I'm sure you think the goals for your personal life, as well. Before you develop your business plan simple, take a few minutes to think about how Your whole life is balanced, and set personal goals, as well as business objectives.

Here are seven steps you can take to measure balance your life, and create your Simple Business Plan:

1. Measure your life balance

Before you develop a vision of your business during the next year, consider this:

Your business should support and help you achieve your vision of life, and goals. If you only set goals for companies, you reduce your chances of having a balanced, happy life and achieving these business goals!

Before proceeding to step 2, I encourage you to first measure the balance of your life. The areas of your life to be measured; financial situation and career social and cultural situations, spirituality and ethics, family and home; mental and educational levels and physical well-being and health.

Use the wheel of life to measure your level of satisfaction in different areas of your life. On a scale of 1 to 10 (where 1 is low and 10 is high), ask yourself how satisfied are you with the different areas of life on the wheel. You can find some other goals you want to work on your business objectives in addition, to help you create the vision of life you want.

You see, so having four business goals is more than enough to work on the achievement, because it is not everything you do in 2008 have a balanced and happy life!

2. Create your business vision to one year.

Great job done Wheel of Life! You are now ready to create your 1-Year Vision for the company.

One of my favorite exercises is to create an exciting vision and living what I want my business to look like next year. Let your imagination run wild and type away, making sure each record you thought, dream, and the direction you want your company to take. Do you dare to dream and think big.

3. Review last year Business objectives.

Before setting goals for 2008, review your business objectives in 2007. Have you got what you're about do? If yes, congratulations! If not, those goals are still relevant? Recognize the progress you've made, but does not lament goals that you have failed. Go ahead with your new or revised targets for the future.

4. Choose a theme.

Usually vision for the year 1-year, a theme (or themes) will appear on what seems fair to focus on next year. It can be relationship building, product development, or implement a new marketing plan to grow your business.

Choose a theme (or themes) that you focus your goals. (Choose two more themes!)

5. Pick 4 goals to focus on the inside your theme (s).

Choose a goal that follows the dominant theme (s) to work on each quarter. For example, if your theme is awareness market increases, your goal first quarter may be to "add 25 new business contacts in reference to your reference list business. Your second quarter goal may be to "publish 12 articles online" or make a podcast. Develop additional targets for quarters three and four.

6. Break down each goal into monthly quarterly, weekly, and daily

Now you know what you want to focus on each quarter, what you should do every month, week and day of the quarter to reach your goal. This is your Action Plan!

A good idea is to treat each goal as a project. Make a list of all the tasks you must accomplish to achieve your objective. Buy a notebook with pockets inside front cover or clear. Put your list of tasks within the pocket coverage. Keep all your papers, articles, and resources you need to achieve your goal in this book ONE. As you complete tasks, check them on your list if you can see and measure your progress.

WARNING: Most people skip this step, after the development their objectives. If you break your goal elephant baby steps, I can guarantee you achieve your goals will be easier!

7. Getting help

Buddy up with a partner or hire a coach to keep you on track and moving forward. Check at least once a week to ensure forward progress, and celebrate your victories!

If you follow the 7 steps, which I talked to you in this time next year, you'll be amazed and delighted with the goals you have accomplished with your business plan simple!
