business days in month
What is the basis for calculating starting salary for semi employee per month?

My start date was April 3, which was the first day business of the month. I was accosted by April 1 and 2. If my salary is calculated as 13/15 or 10/10 days of work because the company was open only 10 days. Is there a law governing this? I live in California.

would a regular calc as follows: (assuming all be paid 2 weeks instead of twice a month) pay period annual/26 reg = If the business was only open for 10 days and / or you do not work period full pay, you do make a partial salary. From what you say, it seems that the pay period ended on 13 (?) If you are actually semi-monthly, then by 14 pay periods per day. Since you mention the 15 to the post, you can be twice a month (15 and end of month). Here, you take annual/24 for your regular pay period and you'd have a full pay period. I am not sure of the law, but I do stubs to gain calc his life. Good luck:)
