What are the highest paying Business majors?

What about a BS in Accounting or Business Administration? What types of jobs can I get with a BS in Business Administration?

Depending on the concentrate will get you different opportunities.

Accounting – obviously gets you accounting jobs, auditor, bookkeeping etc. They generally get pretty good pay here in CA I have seen starting accountants get around 60k and they can move up to 70k in just a year or two. They have the ability to make over 6 figures if they work in a big company.

Finance- You can work at a bank, financial manager, investment banker, etc. This can really range, if you are really good at investments management you can get paid well over 6 figures but you have to be dam good at your job. If not you can always work at banks and be a consultant or those who help people open up accounts, manage loans etc.

Information System – You can work as a project managers, network admins, security admins, IT jobs. Info systems majors have a lot of opportunties in the IT business since they serve as a mediator between the tech guys (programmers) and the business people (the marketers and managers) You can expect pretty good pay out of this major i hear network admins get around 50-70k, project manager can make over 100k, and most IT jobs you will look at around 50k+.

The best major would depend on your area, since i live in the bay area, the IT industry is best for me since Silicon vallley has every imaginable IT company possible.

I think you should either pursue Information systems or accounting
