A Reason to break up..?
I am in a relationship that has lasted longer than any other relationship I have ever been in. I truly love him and despite the troubles we have had, we are still together. However..last year he was given an opportunity to own his own business which required that we move from Florida to Asheville,NC. Well…the fact that we are totally solar opposites in every way.. he enjoys cold .. I hate it. I love florida weather and love the fact that when winter is here.. you will never be trapped in your own home because you can’t get out for being snowed in or can’t drive because the roads are too icey. Does anyone think that ending a relationship because of weather is stupid? I mean I did bring up a suggestion about working in florida during the winter months, but he really didn’t want to agree to that. So I am feeling really confused as to what to do. I love him.. but do I love him enough to want to live in a place that I don’t really like?
I do think it is stupid. My partner moved me to St. Cloud, Minnesota for 5 years for crying out loud. That sucked, but I loved him, wanted to be with him, so I made the move. We moved back, thankfully, but still.
Sounds like you are being a little selfish and should figure out a way to love skiing.
