Why are business newspapers generally printed on brown paper?
In India I find Economic Times, Business Standard among many similar business newspapers printed on brown paper. Business Line is an exception, and is printed on white paper.
it is probably just an attempt to appear to be old, established, conservative and venerable for its business clients (not that there’s anything wrong with that!)
