WEIRD QUESTION – blood in my stool in cats?
my cat is 13 years old but shows no sign of aging whatsoever, has always been healthy. sometimes in the absence of those at home to let her out to her business, she shit in our bathtub. Today, she pooped in the bath and when I went to clean it, I noticed it was normal for solid stool (not liquid), but it was a small pond quarter companies of blood seemed to occur at the beginning or end of the seat (there was no blood mixed in stool, the stool looked normal). I am obviously concerned and my parents will not take him to the vet about this because it works well, even if it wasn't good, I do not think the vet is one option could be just constipation? ..
It could be, if so it will need a little more bulk in your diet food. I do not know if cats get hemorrhoids, I see no reason they would be exempt. If a vet is not an option Now you might want to keep an eye on it and see if it changes, bright red blood at the beginning of a stool or wrapped around it is an indicator of low bleed. the highest blood comes from the darker it will be. If it comes or goes through the stomach the blood will have the appearance of coffee grounds. Sometimes the stool an animal with gastrointestinal bleeding is black and sleek looking with a terrible smell. For now just watch it. Keep a record so you can tell if symptoms worsen or improve.
